How to enter

Make a template
Any style, any category, any length. There is no theme, range across entries is the point. Make the template you wish existed, or re-make a famous video you love with your own assets.

Publish it with the awards tag
Publish it to the marketplace as a free template between August 16 and October 16, and add the tag “awards” when you publish. The tag is your entry form.

Share it publicly
Post your entry anywhere public (X, Reddit, TikTok, your portfolio) with the hashtag #RaylightAwards so we can find it. Sharing at least one entry is required to be eligible for a prize.

Winners announced October 26
The Raylight team judges every entry after the window closes. Winners and standout entries get featured in the gallery and the recap.
Judging
The Raylight team judges every entry on four criteria, weighted evenly. Marketplace traction (remixes and favorites) breaks ties.
Motion craft
Timing, easing, camera work. Does it move beautifully?
Originality
An idea or aesthetic we haven't seen in the gallery yet.
Usability as a template
How easily someone else can swap in their own content and ship it.
Polish
Typography, color, detail work. The last 10% that reads as pro.
The rules
- 01Enter by publishing a template to the Raylight marketplace with the tag “awards” between August 16 and October 16, 2026 (11:59 PM UTC).
- 02Entries must be free to use for the length of the contest. You can make an entry paid after winners are announced.
- 03Re-makes are welcome and encouraged. Recreating the motion of a famous video is exactly what Raylight is for. Original ideas and re-makes compete as equals.
- 04Build with your own assets. Use only fonts, images, footage, and sounds you have the rights to, and no third-party logos, footage, or brand assets. For a re-make that means recreating the motion, not copying their files.
- 05Enter as many templates as you like. One prize per person.
- 06Share at least one of your entries publicly (X, Reddit, TikTok, anywhere with a link) using the hashtag #RaylightAwards to be eligible for a prize.
- 07You keep full ownership of everything you enter. By entering, you let Raylight feature your entry in the gallery, the winners recap, and promotional material, always with credit.
- 08Cash prizes are paid via PayPal or Wise within 30 days of the announcement. Taxes are the winner's responsibility. Pro prizes are applied to your account.
- 09Raylight may disqualify entries that break these rules or our content policy. Void where prohibited by law.
