Paste a setup prompt into your AI
Pick the AI you use and copy its prompt. Coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor add Raylight on their own. The Claude and ChatGPT apps walk you through adding it in their settings.

Help me connect Raylight (raylight.app, my motion design video editor) to Claude. You can't add connectors yourself, so walk me through it step by step: open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, paste https://api.raylight.app/mcp, click Add, then Connect, and approve the Raylight sign-in. After connecting, call get_editor_status. If no Raylight editor tab is connected, call list_projects and give me the exact editUrl to open, then wait for me to open it before editing.
Approve the sign-in
Your AI sends you to a Raylight page asking for access. Log in, or create a free account right there, and hit Approve. From then on it can read and edit your projects through your open editor.

Open your project at raylight.app
Every edit runs through your live editor tab, so keep the project open in your browser. Not sure which one? Ask your AI to list your projects and it will give you the link.
Ask for a change
Your AI reads the shot, makes the edits, then renders frames to check its work. Each change shows up on your canvas as it happens, and you can undo its edits like your own.
